Q1 2024 Tower Defense Games Surge in Latin America on iOS

Latin America's iOS platform has seen significant activity within the Tower Defense gaming category in the first quarter of 2024. Sensor Tower's data provides insights into the performance of the top five Tower Defense games during this period.

Starting with Rush Royale: Tower Defense TD, the game experienced a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at around $32K in mid-March. Downloads saw a downward trend from 8K to 5K, while weekly active users dipped slightly from 41K to around 39K before rising again to approximately 39K.

TAP4FUN's Kingdom Guard:Tower Defense TD showed a mixed revenue trend, with a notable spike to $19K towards the end of March. Downloads varied, reaching a high of 10K also at the end of March. Weekly active users showed growth, starting at 16K and surging to nearly 20K by the quarter's end.

PopCap's evergreen Plants vs. Zombies™ 2 maintained a steady revenue around $3K to $6K throughout the quarter. Downloads remained strong with numbers hovering around 30K, and weekly active users showcased exceptional engagement, starting at 315K and maintaining above 300K throughout the quarter.

Shanghai Moonton Technology's Watcher of Realms presented modest revenue figures, peaking at just above $7K in mid-February. Downloads were relatively low, with a peak of 690 downloads. Active users showed a slight increase from under 1K at the start of the quarter to around 1.4K towards the end of February, before settling at 882 in the last week of March.

Lastly, Bloons TD 6 by Ninja Kiwi saw revenues hovering below $2.3K. The game's downloads and weekly active users remained consistent, with downloads peaking at 195 and active users remaining around the 1.5K to 1.7K mark.
